EKOBO products are a more gentle alternative to plastic made from organic recycled crushed bamboo. They are made from the rest of bamboo in the manufacture of toothuets and 100% harmless A5 melaman. They do not contain BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead, cadmium or mercury. They meet all food contact standards - FDA, LFGB and REACH.

Why is bamboo now a popular environmentally friendly material? Bamboo is a phenomenon nowadays and is increasingly used ecological material in the production of organic products such as dishes, household goods, toys, textiles or clothing. Bamboo has several important features as to why it has become so popular. One of the important features is their rapid growth, sometimes up to 100cm per day. It grows very densely even on a small area and its cultivation does not deforestation at the expense of other trees or plants. It absorbs CO2 and releases oxygen, thus filtering this greenhouse gas. As a natural material, bamboo itself and its products are fully degradable in nature and eventually turned into soil. Ekobo is a pioneer in the development and production of crushed bamboo products and consistently supports and uses small local processors and producers in China, i.e. at the place of bamboo cultivation. In addition, Ekobo will provide the products with a unique design and cheerful colors.

Recommended use: Can be washed in the dishwasher, but manual washing is recommended for longer service life. Do not use in the microwave oven.

Ekobo is a French brand of designer eco dishes and household goods. It was founded in 2003 by French-American designer duo Boo & Bruno Louis. The brand soon became well-known and popular especially for organic serving dishes and home accessories made of bamboo fiber and other renewable materials.
